Venture backed, New York based ecommerce start-up looking for senoir developers to join innovative, fast-paced team.

The Drupal Developer will be responsible for assisting in the development of a high performance, highly available web applications. You will be engaged from all prospective development levels and play a critical role in designing, developing and deploying an application.

You will use your technical knowledge and creative thinking to provide the most innovative solutions. You must be self motivated to meet aggressive deadlines in a rapid application development environment.

Drupal Specific Requirements
•Minimum 3 years experience developing Drupal web applications
•Strong experience with Drupal module development.
•Strong familiarity with Drupal architecture, Drupal best practices, and Drupal coding standards.
•Familiarity manipulating modules, Views, Content Types, and other "exportable" objects in code.

Other Specific Requirements:
•Previous experience working with a team of technical developers with successful delivery of web-based applications
•Extensive knowledge of LAMP (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PhP) based development
•Experience working with Web Services (XMLRPC, SOAP) in a highly scalable, highly available environment
•Strong fundamental understanding of web application technology
•Strong understanding of basic web skills (HTML, CSS and Javascript)
•Strong programming skills with the LAMP Stack - PHP5 and Drupal CMS Framework as well as exposure to Ajax and interaction with front-end technologies
•Working knowledge of Web servers (Apache, IIS)
•Good communications skills and organization skills
•Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL)
•Ability and desire to learn new applications/processes/environments
•Experience working with subversion.

Rent the Runway is a Venture backed start-up based in New York City currently looking for top talent to manage a complex operational process that introduces challenges of ship-outs, returns, dry cleaning, moving inventory, and a dispersed geographic layout. Ideal candidate would have experience coordinating warehouse operations at a Fresh Direct, Zappos, Diapers.com, Gilt Groupe, Netflix, Game Fly, etc… Individual will evaluate and coordinate all shipping and fulfillment of orders and implement SYSTEMS to integrate to track orders. Specific examples of projects we will need to analyze include: where to open warehouses, whether to have a captive dry cleaners, which geographic areas to focus on, what shipping partner to use, when to expedite shipping, how to perfect packaging methods, how to ensure timely delivery to customers, how to organize internal warehouse to create a scalable model, how to split inventory in the event that there are several warehouses.
