CTO/VP Engineering/Lead Developer in New York

Looking for a great opportunity with tons of upside? We're looking for a CTO to join a founding team in New York City.

The team is led by a Web entrepreneur with a history of successful exits who's currently an Entrepreneur-In-Residence with Lightspeed Ventures (Silicon Valley-based VC firm whose previous portfolio companies have included Doubleclick, Openwave and eHealth).

We're looking for a hardcore developer and tech leader to build and manage a team of offshore and local developers. You'll lead the full development life cycle, from architecture planning to application design and coding through QA testing and delivery.

The developer should be able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and be ready to dig in to do everything it takes to build a successful web site and company -- code, manage, innovate, and even take out the trash if that's what it takes.

Basically we’re looking for a smart, ambitious workaholic with coding skills that can't be beat, the personality to mesh well with a close-knit team, and an obsession with all things Web.
