About Us
OneThing is a small (three people), early-stage VC-backed startup in San Francisco… and we’re looking for a fourth (and possibly fifth) person to join the team. We’re working on a cool way to do recommendations better - much better (and more, much more).

About this Job
We’re looking for one or two front-end developers that are awesome at HTML/CSS. Anything on top of that is a welcome bonus -- so don't feel overqualified. There's lots to do and we know how hard it is to find good people. We can tailor the role so it's a good fit all-around. More detail on that below.

About you

We're eating our own dogfood and using the site to help us in two ways: (1) find talented programmers based on their recommendations, (2) find folks that are actually interested in working on taking OneThing from what it is today to what it could be tomorrow. So, if this sounds and looks interesting to you, add yourself to the Programming category and show us you have fans.

We’re looking for someone with..
* Excellent XHTML/HTML/CSS skills (so, you're good friends with "pixel perfect")
* Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility
* Ability to work well remotely (we typically work together on mon, wed, fri and remotely on tue, thu)
* Proactively thinking about how to make OneThing better
* Can’t imagine not working at a startup right now
* Very comfortable in an agile development environment
* Disciplined approach to development and testing
* Rapidly fix bugs

As mentioned, anything else is a bonus, particularly:
* Experience and knack for building awesome web user interfaces
* Familiarity with Ruby on Rails
* Javascript / AJAX skills

OneThing is a startup backed by a top-tier VC. We’re located in San Francisco and offer competitive salaries and stock options. We're looking for someone who's ok with a contract-to-hire situation -- as we want everyone to feel 100% that the fit is right before finalizing an offer.

Compensation
It depends on experience, but the ballpark range is $75k - $110k.
