Curriculum Admin Internship for Fast-Growing Startup in New York

LearnBat, winner of the Columbia Venture Competition, has been accepted into the prestigious DreamIt summer incubator program for promising startups. In addition, we have been invited to participate in a joint program with Startl, an educational accelerator, and IDEO.

We are looking for a smart, motivated intern to work with us during these pivotal summer months while we grow our user base. You would be asked to telecommute from NYC while we're in Philadelphia for the summer as part of the DreamIt Ventures program. This is an unpaid internship; however, you would be gaining valuable experience working at a fast-growing startup, in many aspects of our company.

LearnBat's mission is to change the way people learn and teach online, and to bring quality education to any student in the world, regardless of location or economic status. We have already built the most interactive online tutoring tool on the market, which uses a tablet interface to allow students and teachers to interactive and share their handwritten notes in real-time.

LearnBat, winner of the Columbia Venture Competition, has been accepted into the prestigious DreamIt summer incubator program for promising startups. In addition, we have been invited to participate in a joint program with Startl, an educational accelerator, and IDEO.

DreamIt will provide office space, free legal/accounting work, and most importantly, a network of mentors including VC's, angels, and other entrepreneurs. Needless to say, we are hugely excited by this opportunity to work with such amazing people.

We are reserving a spot for a web app development intern to join us for the ride this summer, and are offering a $3000 stipend to cover relocation costs. We are also open to interns who can't make it to Philly, and we'll give you a free iPad as compensation.
