Creative Communications Manager for Clean Energy in San Francisco

Greenzu (www.greenzu.com) is a San Francisco based startup that helps small businesses and non-profits go solar by removing the upfront cost. The biggest barrier to these buildings going solar is a lack of financing. Instead of paying upfront for the solar equipment, our business/non-profit customers just buys electricity from us. They save money while helping the environment!

With 4 million commercial rooftops ready for solar, Greenzu is poised to help America remove 57 Billion tons of CO2 from the air. Now we need a few smart, creative, people to communicate this to the nation's media and business leaders.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As our lead communications/PR creator, you will be our chief storyteller. You will formulate creative new strategies for driving awareness of how Greenzu is catalyzing the adoption of clean energy across the country. You will also rally mainstream and trade press to tell our story. To do all this, you must carry a personal passion for environmental stewardship, clean energy breakthroughs, and creative ways to get large corporate decision-makers to pay attention.

We're looking for a charismatic, experienced sales pro, to launch our company's sales efforts.

ABOUT US

Greenzu is an early stage solar startup with an innovative approach to commercial solar deals. Now we need an energetic + ambitious sales guru to start selling it. You'll be joining the founding team, in charge of the most important part of the start-up: Making the money come in.

This is a salary + commission + founder's equity opportunity.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The "right" person for this job is someone excited about taking ownership of the entire sales process. That means everything from: finding leads, generating demand, shaping marketing materials, giving pitches, and most importantly closing deals.

Our targets are small to medium size building owners, property managers, and business owners. We're looking for someone with experience selling to those sectors.

Qualification/Skills:
