This leads to a very challenging but gratifying work environment. <br /> <br />The Opportunity: Senior Buyer <br /> <br />The Sr. Buyer will work as a team in a two person department sourcing and procuring unique, sometimes special order or one-of-a-kind high-technology equipment and supplies including Audio/Visual systems and components, multimedia development and display systems, machine shop equipment, theatrical equipment, automotive, electrical, optical, as well as computer hardware and software. Negotiate for best possible price. <br /> <br />Enter purchase orders into system, track requests, maintain database of reliable order statuses for project managers. Prepare purchasing reports, perform reconciliations. Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
