We are seeking a writer/editor to help us educate and inform users and potential users about how to manage their personal finances and family investments.

Blueleaf will help people take control of their investments through helping them understand their investments, monitoring their investments for them every day, helping them collaborate with the people they trust, and securely powering third-party apps with their financial data. To do this, we’re building a hub connecting investors, their families and their financial advisors to ALL their investment and bank accounts, and to one another. While our initial goal is to do for investments what Mint did for spending, our ultimate goal is ambitious: we want to transform financial services the way Amazon transformed retail sales and Google transformed advertising.

View full job description | View company profile

Rails Engineer in Cambridge

Blueleaf is an angel-funded startup building an online investing hub that we believe will become THE investing interface for the web. We are seeking a full stack Rails engineer to help drive Blueleaf’s customer experience with passion and sensitivity for users.

We are three guys (a lean startup CEO, a financial cryptographer CTO/coder, and a serial entrepreneur VPE/coder) with outstanding contract design and development partners. We’re building a world class in-house team. Our investors include high-profile founders from some of the largest sites on the Internet as well as some of the smartest investors in the world.

We currently have an invitation-only Alpha that we’ve shared with a handful of Blueleaf friends and we’ll happily share with you. Blueleaf is implemented in Rails, and run on Apache/Passenger servers with a Postgres back end. The front end is standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Development tools include git, RSpec, Pivotal, Redmine, Gerrit, and TeamCity. We hope to add cucumber to the mix soon. Our process is agile: customer driven with quick iterations and A/B testing.

View full job description | View company profile
