- Must possess aptitude for quick decision-making in a rapidly evolving environment
- Able to work on-site (no telecommuting or relocation offered)

We are well funded and growing very quickly- we launched our site less than a year ago and we are up to a team of 8. We are now seeking a front end developer to help scale the engineering team.

-At least 7+ years of work experience in web application development.
-Strong experience with cross-platform DHTML, CSS, Javascript 2.0, AJAX, JSON, and other Web 2.0 tools desirable.
-Extensive knowledge of cross-browser compatibility & browser degradation strategies.
-Previous work experience with Scala and Lift or other similar languages. (our backend is in Scala)
-Strong debugging skills and the ability to optimize code for speed.
-Understanding of OOP and event-driven programming.
-Knowledge of HCI and application UI design.
-Experience with widget development, social networking platforms, and front end web syndication & mashup schemes is a plus.
-Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Very good business skills.
