Do you like to get your hands dirty and learn constantly while tackling new challenges? <br /> <br />We are seeking an exceptional mechanical engineer to join our fast-paced consumer product design start-up in Cambridge, MA. You will be responsible for the engineering design of new products, from brainstorming ideas through prototyping models to manufacturing product. <br /> <br />The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical engineering background, have experience in consumer product design, feels at home in a machine shop, knows the ins and outs of SolidWorks, and is highly self-motivated. Bonus points if you have expertise in: power electronics, material selection or manufacturing. <br /> <br />This is a contract position, with the possibility of future full time employment, for about 20 hours a week.
