Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) for Cognitive and Autonomous Robotics company

Opinno works with growth stage ventures to launch in new international markets. We work
closely with Research and Development Centers, Universities, founders of growth stage
ventures, and technology companies to help them accelerate the growth. To support the global expansion of a venture, we apply the methodology of co-entrepreneurship - providing a local entrepreneur, an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR), to lead the new local office or lead a round of funding with the support of Opinno´s analyst team and in conjunction with the management of the company.

The company is an Spin off from top Spanish university that offers integrated solutions for the automation of service vehicles already on the market, using the latest scientific advances in cognitive processes.

With the integration of proprietary software based on human cognitive models and cutting edge hardware, the Company has combined traditional robotic functions with the latest cognitive abilities.

The opportunity is to become a key player in the coming revolution, service robotics.

The EIR must have the ability to combine business process with marketing strategy and program execution. Achieve any of the following objective

1) Find company partners who can help to commercialize the products

2) Identify potential markets, which are numerous, and define the strategy to follow

3) Find a VC specialized in intelligence/robots that is interested in investing in the company

The executive therefore would have to have experience in the following fields:

a) Industry Knowledge; experience in related markets

b) Biz Development: Has experience in negotiating agreements with big multinationals who are at the potential customers. Understands the decision making criteria for these kind of deals in the Corporate world.

c) Venture Capital: Has had experience in negotiating with the VC industry. Preferably knows players in the Corporate VC arena

d) Technical: Given the technological nature of the product the person has to be able to represent well in front of partners the value of the technology. This is key also for him to realize the potential of the opportunity (we do not want to hire somebody that will realize 3 months into the deal that he can not be successful)

Everybody in the Company is fluent in English, so language is not an issue.

The purpose of these campaigns will be to drive awareness and media attention to our conferences, meetings and networking events as they come to life online and in person.

The Marketing Manager will be results-oriented and able to manage numerous initiatives simultaneously.
