LA TechStars company seeking Front-End Web Developer in Santa Monica

Laffster is an LA tech startup that will be starting a new TechStars affiliated accelerator headquartered in Santa Monica. While the company is in stealth mode, Laffster can be considered a Comedy Central for the digital age, with content seamlessly available and customized for consumers to have at home, on tablet, in car, etc. Our culture involves a lot of laughing and getting things done with no bureaucracy. The founding team held development positions at Google and Activision and business strategy positions at Warner Brothers and IAC and the hands on Advisory Board includes the co-founder of MP3.com and the former head of Myspace Comedy.

Laffster is looking for a strong front-end HTML5 web superstar to join our team in conjunction with the start of the 3 month long TechStars program. The developer would have all resources available with the program and be able to learn from all of the amazing mentors in the accelerator. Mobile Web HTML/CSS Designer in Santa Monica

Comedy service Laffster seeks a mobile web HTML/CSS designer for 1-week contract engagement focused on scaling our site to fit perfectly on smartphone browsers.

Started in 2010 by USC grads with a shared passion for web and humor, Laffster aims to be the new number one destination for online comedy. Laffster's CTO worked for Google for several years and has designed Laffster's software stack based on an Amazon Web Services backend and HTML5 / jQuery frontend.

With sights set on mobile web browser audio streaming, Laffster has created an HTML5 version of its website and is looking for a mobile HTML/CSS designer to make it fit into our cross-platform Flex mobile application.
