Public Relations Manager in Orlando

Responsibilities:
As the Public Relations Manager, you will be responsible for the management of all public relations activities for Vertiglo. In this role, you will participate in the strategic planning to create and execute initiatives. You will recommend, and direct resources to develop and execute the public relations strategy and represent Vertiglo at meetings, conferences, shows, and events. You will collaborate internally with cross-functional teams to identify newsworthy opportunities and serve as a press spokesperson.

You will also be responsible for managing Public Relations Specialist(s) in development of relationships with key members of the media and well as the execution of product/services program. You will arrange high-profile partnerships and opportunities for the brands as well as develop and distribute press releases and brand materials. You will manage contributions to Vertiglo newsletter, intranet system, and each product/service, when relevant.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in liberal arts, public relations, communications or a related field. Must have a Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in public relations with media in an agency or corporate communications environment is required. Experience in web technologies or related field is a real plus.

+ Successful management of a small team.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficient in social/digital media.
+ Deadline oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
+ Must be energetic and comfortable working in a team environment.

Creating visually stunning, impressive designs is an art that takes a tremendous amount of skill and talent. Vertiglo artists are responsible for creating the visual elements of our web designs and apps.

Role:
Interface Designers are responsible for focusing on the experience and interaction with all variables. The goal is to make the experience as intuitive as possible, in particular by making sure a user can easily navigate menus, icons, and application modules. Interface Designers are responsible for developing common interface ergonomics, which includes the creation of style overlays and functionality of the products. The Interface Designer will play a role in conceptualizing, designing, and creating individual assets for the interface.

Interface Designers have strong artistic, typographic, and layout skills. They are able to develop innovative design solutions while following creative and art direction. A passion for design is mandatory.

Requirements:
Interface Designers possess a background in interface design. Ideally, they have experience in Broadcast Graphics, Corp Identity, and/or interactive/multimedia graphic design or interface/instructional design (ergonomics).

An Interface Designer’s portfolio must demonstrate a creative approach and style without sacrificing readability and flow of information. They must demonstrate a good eye for:
+ Composition and layout
+ Typography
+ Color theory

From a technical standpoint, Interface Designers must have experience with Photoshop, Flash, and/or Illustrator. Nice to have skills include 3DS Max, Maya, Premiere, Dreamweaver, and After Effects.

Vertiglo is looking for a bright and creative web developer (emphasis on "developer") to join the web team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a creative problem solver, and able to take initiative.

Responsibilities:
+ Create and update client websites, client facing web properties and internal tools
+ Work with marketing, sales, support and engineering teams, gathering needs and requirements to develop solutions to aid these teams
+ Create deployment scripts and tests for staging production environments
+ Install, setup and customize third-party software, e.g. Wordpress, phpBB, Symfony
+ Troubleshoot when things go wrong
+ Monitor traffic and ensure that we are meeting the needs of our clients
+ Make suggestions for increasing traffic and improving traffic flow

Requirements:
+ Two years of PHP or .NET with solid knowledge of objected oriented design, or five years of an object oriented programming language with two years of recent PHP or .NET development
+ Three years of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
+ Experience working with Linux, Apache, IIS
+ Experience working with SOAP
+ Basic knowledge of MySQL and SQL Server
+ Able to hand-code standards compliant and semantic mark-up
+ Solid cross-browser CSS knowledge, and awareness of cross-browser issues
+ Aware of best practices for web development and able to communicate and share this knowledge
+ Experience using CVS, SVN or other version control system
+ Excellent communication skills

Pluses:
