Professional Services Marketing Manager

The individual in this role will be responsible for developing and executing specific messaging, sales tools, web site content, customer facing collaterals, marketing campaigns and other related activities focused on Professional Services, Training and Premium Support offerings. Summary:

Software architecture is the key enabler for productive and flexible appliance creation and product differentiation for Infoblox. The Vice President of Emerging Technologies will lead execution of the technical vision for the company and drive development of Infoblox’s next generation product architectures and software designs. This executive will be the bridge between the high level “marketecture” and the deep technical requirements that are critical for successful development of the infrastructure by the product team. In leading these efforts, this Vice President will focus on product architectures that emphasize reliability, scalability, configurability, and extensibility which are crucial for both Infoblox and its customers and partners. The focus of the job is to work with marketing, engineering, and the office of the CTO to develop and execute a cohesive architectural strategy while identifying concrete technical solutions to support product strategy and development.

This executive will establish alignment across Infoblox’s product organization and drive architecture efforts to support a rapidly scaling business. This executive will lead strategic planning and technical meetings to not only define product architectures and key technology “building blocks”, but also identify best practices and opportunities for process and design improvements. This Vice President will also work closely with the CTO and Infoblox’s senior leadership team to influence the strategic product vision for the company, accelerate product innovation, build on and protect the integrity of existing product lines, and provide a culture for change to equally emphasize strategic and tactical product development efforts. This executive will also work with engineering leadership to shorten the product development cycle, commercialize new products, and acquire new and novel technologies.

This is not a Chief Science Officer position and Infoblox is not an academic think-tank. Specifically, this Vice President will:

Develop and manage a complete technology strategy and roadmap for the evolution of the product architecture that executes on the high level conceptual product vision for the company’s growth and expansion.
Drive development of the strategic vision and technical requirements for all product architectures, advise the company on the suitability and maturity of certain technologies, and guide implementation and adoption of new technologies into the product life cycle. This includes the study of future software technologies, design of software architectures for new hardware configurations, and prototyping of specific technologies that can fulfill architectural needs.
Evaluate, recruit, motivate, reward, and retain the talent in the Advanced Technologies Group to ensure existing and new strategic technologies are implemented successfully.
