Software Engineer Energy Efficiency Tablet Applications in Boston

Talking face-to-face, on the phone, and via Skype can all be productive forms of communication for you. We are a small distributed team accomplishing a lot of different things at once, and this means your efforts will be more immediately appreciated than in most companies. It also means we really need someone who is hard-charging and able to ramp up very quickly.

We are entering a transition period where code refactoring is going to be occupying the majority of our team (a couple months). We are particularly interested in individuals who can demonstrate that they experience in consolidating code and improving that architecture. We are interested in finding someone who loves writing code, can help in discussions regarding our codebase and planning/architecture decisions, as well as lead small projects of teams of 2-3 developers. After that we are building new stuff everyday that goes directly into the product and used by our customers

We develop tablet-based data collection and management software for professionals who conduct commercial and industrial building assessments for the purposes of identifying energy savings opportunities. Our digital workflow automation tool helps to streamline the commercial energy auditing process and removes the majority of the manual processes and repetitive tasks involved. Our goal is to make energy service professionals more profitable, improve their quality of life, and increase their efficiency; all which drive to a more energy efficient and sustainable society.
