The Job:
The engineering associate will work closely with the engineering team to build and support the SamaHub our distributed microwork platform. The engineering associate should be a recent graduate or currently enrolled in a degree program. The associate must have some experience building a web application, familiarity with Ruby is a strong plus. Bonus points for open source contributions.

You will receive a stipend, in addition to the invaluable experience of being an integral part of the Samasource team, with significant responsibility. The Position:
We are looking for a Data Analysis Associate with expertise in quantitative research methods to analyze education and labor metrics gathered from Samasource workers around the world, as well as defining new evaluation methods and surveys for tracking workers’ long-term progress, development, and economic improvements. While reporting to the Director of Development, you will work cross-functionally with Engineering to implement new metrics on our proprietary, cloud-based SamaHub platform, and collaborate with the field staff and Delivery team for devising new surveys. You will assist in creating reports of your analysis that will be presented to Samasource’s financial supporters, which include foundations and individual donors. This position is stipended and requires a 10-week minimum commitment.

We are looking for an Interaction Design Associate to help scale our microwork platform and improve the work experience for people living in poverty. Our web application, the SamaHub, is displayed in a browser and powered by Ruby on Rails. Working closely with the Lead Designer, you will add your empathy, focus, and creativity to the information architecture and user interface. You will learn about and speak for our users, and articulate the reasons behind your designs. The Project Analyst program is a fast-paced progression through our project delivery operations. Your Mission:
Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the field sales force. Sales Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. The Sales Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
