mClinica is a fast growing, mobile technology startup providing a targeted first-to-market solution for pharmaceutical companies operating in emerging markets. The company’s highly innovative solution is aimed uniquely at the retail pharmacy level. mClinica has designed a real-time, scalable, data-driven platform leveraging SMS technology. By enabling the pharmacy channel, mClinica grows market share by building brand awareness and recognition, improving product knowledge, and deploying targeted rebate and patient discount programs to enhance the brand’s competitive position.

mClinica is looking to establish and deploy its operations in Morocco. It has already developed a key relationship with one of the top multinational pharmaceutical companies who is looking to deploy the mClinica solution in Morocco.

The role is a newly created role in response to the company’s recent expansion. The new executive will play a critical role in both the development and execution of the mClinica platform in Morocco. The first deployment of the platform will be in Casablanca. The candidate will be responsible for managing operations and increasing sales as well as recruiting, developing and managing a team of sales representatives and service staff needed to support the mClinica platform. He/she will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong customer relations with member pharmacies as well as representatives from sponsoring pharmaceutical companies. The person will be required to take a leadership role in pitching the mClinica solution to new pharmaceutical companies. The person will be attentive to capital management, legal and compliance matters while effectively managing the company’s exposure to financial, operational and reputational risk. He/she should have the insight to develop local market strategies and a firm control on the operational requirements to operate most efficiently and drive growth. The Executive Director will report directly to the CEO/Founder of the parent company.
