MIT Media Lab's Sourcemap Hiring Front-end Web Developer in Cambridge

Sourcemap is seeking a full-time front-end developer to join our team to start as soon as possible. Sourcemap is an award-winning open source platform for researching, optimizing and sharing supply chains (and the impacts behind them). We are looking for a developer with a passion for the web and strong experience constructing cross-browser, scalable and flexible UI code for web applications using CSS, HTML and JavaScript. Candidates should bring an enthusiasm and a desire to take ownership of development projects. The Front-End Developer will take the lead on implementing new and exciting features for our site and developing a modular, extensible and open source UI architecture for the Sourcemap codebase. The project comes out of the MIT Media Lab's Tangible Media Group and Center For Future Civic Media, and candidates will work with us on site in Central Square, Cambridge (easy commute on the Red line).
