Kick-ass Co-founder/CTO or Lead Developer in Pasadena

Vloggo is your life through video. It’s a social network that allows you to creatively share, interact, and communicate with short video clips. Videos can be recorded and shared with our iPhone application, webcam integration, or traditional uploading.

We’re an early stage startup, and currently in private Beta. The website and iPhone app are fully developed, and will be publicly launched in a few weeks.

Who are you?

We are looking for a scrappy hacker, who is hungry to create something truly great. You must have the startup mentality and understand that this is going to be a crazy journey. If you’re looking for that 9 to 5 (boring), do not apply.

What we need:

Ideally, we want to bring on a co-founder/CTO. That being said, we understand that not all people can work for pure equity. Therefore, we are also considering a lead developer position. The title really doesn’t matter as you’re responsibilities will be the same. The only difference is in compensation. A co-founder will be given a large equity stake, where as an employee will be paid a small (and by small we mean tiny) salary and balanced with minor equity. In either case, when funding is achieved, you’re compensation will significantly increase.

Obviously your responsibilities will be focused on the product and technical side. You’ll need to quickly learn and fully understand the current code like it’s the back of your hand. You’re initial focus will be on ensuring continuous site functionality, as well as scaling and iterating as the concept matures.

Initially, you may work remotely with occasional meet ups in Pasadena. However, as the team grows, you will be required to work from our office in the Pasadena area.

View full job description | View company profile
