ICE CREAM BRAND: Local Intern Job Description

Founded recently here in Portland, we’re a high-end ice cream brand following the traditions that incorporate only the best from the Northwest. Our locally produced ice cream is made with care in small batches and with the highest quality ingredients from the surrounding region. The ice cream is made from ingredients farmed and produced in Oregon and is currently sold in grocery stores in the Portland area.

Our local intern will help build the company’s brand and help us to effectively speak with our target customers – Oregonians. You will help the team formulate ways to engage with the community, identify local marketing opportunities and represent the brand at the retailer level. You may call on individual stores to develop relationships and achieve maximum product sales or on prospects to enhance partnerships or business development.

While based in Oregon, you will work closely with a team set predominantly in New York City. The team is a highly experienced group of individuals with strong operating and financial backgrounds. This is a great opportunity for a motivated self-starter who loves ice cream, interacting with the public and is interested in a sales/marketing career.
