Web Application Developer (LAMP) in New York

Immersive Labs is looking to hire a Web Application Developer to work on our Content Management and Reporting System. Immersive Labs provides facial recognition technology, designed to adapt and optimize content based on actual viewership on digital signs for retailers and out-of –home advertisers. The technology is a combination of anonymous facial detection, sophisticated machine learning and strategies specified by the marketer. Immersive Labs is a FUNDED Techstars NY company and was selected as one of the Top 25 hottest start ups to watch in New York City by Business Insider. We are on the cusp of something that is world changing and have scheduled deployments nationwide. We are looking for someone to help us bring the online experience to the offline world.

The ideal candidate would consider themselves a "Generalist" programmer. In addition to the main role, this candidate should be able help with other aspects of our technology platform, and has other technology experience including PHP, Javascript, LAMP, JQuery, HTML, C++, Linux, etc. We prefer to hire people who have interests in the Computer Science field outside of their job duties, and actively work on their own projects and hobbies.
