Green Revolution Cooling (www.grcooling.com) is an Austin-based startup that produces a highly disruptive cooling solution for data center servers featuring total submersion in high performance dielectric fluid. Since bringing the product to market in mid-2010, the company has experienced tremendous growth in manufacturing, sales, and production, and is expanding personnel rapidly to keep up.

The company is currently hiring an exceptional and multi-faceted intern to begin in June 2013 at its facility located near Metric and Braker. The ideal candidate will quickly move to full time and become an important part of the growing team. Availability M-F is required. Reliable transportation and proof of driver's insurance is required.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building a pivot table in Excel as he/she is learning how to weld in the shop. The ideal candidate is exceedingly hungry, eager, and competent. The ideal candidate is expected to speak well, to write well, to be fearless on the phone, and to be able to lift 40 pounds comfortably. The ideal candidate will be expected to accomplish a task in half the time that a competent person would require.

While it is most likely that the ideal candidate has a background in math, engineering, or physical sciences, this is not a hard-and-fast requirement. It is most important that the candidate be highly analytical, creative, and able to read/react to most any situation or need that arises. The ideal candidate will demonstrate voracious learning aptitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Initial responsibilities include but are not (even remotely) limited to:
• Reporting to the COO to keep everything in the office running smoothly
• Aiding builders, designers, and craftsmen in the shop
• Manufacturing/installation support
• Product assembly support
• Sales support
• Packaging design

The only guarantee is that every day will be different. The variety of tasks and projects is nearly limitless. You should be equally comfortable in an office and in a shop, in talking with engineers, salespeople, customers, and business development associates, in executing menial tasks and taking on large, critical projects. Expect to split time between desk work and shop work at first.

Several previous holders of this position have gone on to secure meaningful full-time positions with the company. You are encouraged to show what you can do and those that add significant value to the company are rewarded accordingly. This position will be best filled by an exceedingly ambitious, bright, and adaptable person that wants to become a significant contributor to the development of an exciting hardware product.

Solidworks Drafter in Austin

Green Revolution Cooling is a small Austin-based startup with a revolutionary new product for the computer industry. With tremendous success in the market, Green Revolution Cooling is looking for a highly skilled draftsman to help with the design of the next generation of products.

The applicant will work with complex piping systems, sheet metal assemblies, and wiring designs. All drafting will be done in SolidWorks. Intelligent input into the designs will be welcome and expected. We are not looking for someone who will simply do as they are told but rather work to make improvements as designs evolve.

Responsibilities include:
-Formalize existing designs
-Build system to track drawing changes and track drawing changes going forward
-Take new designs from hand sketches and turn them into 3D models with dimensioned drawings
-Inspect incoming parts from vendors

Experience requirements:
-MUST HAVE SEVERAL YEARS OF DRAFTING EXPERIENCE WITH SOLIDWORKS
-GD&T
-Be able to work in an office with dogs (we have a few friendly mascots)

Bonus skills:
-Experience with SolidWorks routing and SolidWorks PDM
-Experience drafting complex piping systems
-Sheet metal experience
-Welded assemblies experience
-Experience creating wire routes and cable harness designs

Senior Sales Executive for Data Center Hardware Startup in Austin

Green Revolution Cooling is seeking a lead sales person for our team. Our company is growing and doing well. The sales potential for the coming year is tremendous. As of March 1, we have closed more than 1/3 of target sales figures for the calendar year. Most of the time, we have more sales leads than we can follow up with. The technology we have brought to market is extraordinary and has captured the attention of an industry. With endless press articles, big name customers, and lots of awards, the future looks bright.

We need a professional sales person to come in and take us tothe next level. The salesperson would come in and take the lead in sales. Aswith all startups, we are looking for someone who can do more than simply readfrom a script. We need someone who can adapt the environment, develop their ownstrategy and material, negotiate the bureaucracy of big companies, beinnovative, and go forward.

As the company grows, this position will have great opportunity. We expect sustained growth at more than 300% per year (Q1 of 2012will have the same revenue as all of last year). As we grow, we hope the sales person will grow with us, forming the sales organization too. For the right person, the earning potential could be extraordinary.

The position will have plenty of leads from trade shows, but is also expected take initiative and find their own leads. Customers andclients will likely come from all of over the world, so international travel will be required. Fortunately our customers are located in some of the most scenic parts of the world including Stockholm, Vienna, and others.

Getting to know our technology and team is not something that can be done from home. We expect the individual to be onsitewhen not on the road.

Desired Skills & Experience

First and foremost, the candidate must have a proven track record for enterprise sales in the IT / data center industry. They must be able to understand what it takes in the industry, understand the speed of movement, and be able to negotiate through an organization to make things happen.

6+ years in direct, outside, enterprise sales
Some level of a technical understanding is a must.
Experience traveling in or doing business in Europe is a plus.
Obviously, must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
Must be okay with dogs (we have an office mascot).
