Java Web Scraping Guru in Canada

LoyaltyMatch is currently seeking a Java developer to build a web scraping framework and sub-system. The sub-system must be able to go to various web sites of different layouts and scrape items, pictures, the descriptions, titles, etc,. The system must also massage the data (look for errors, french characters, etc) and then load the info in our database.

The project involves building a generic scraping engine on top of an excisting framework that would take a script (feed) of each site to drive the data gathering logic. Since each site is different, the engine must accept a customizable feed to drill down to specific items.

View full job description | View company profile
