The Sr. Developer position is a ground floor opportunity and will be responsible for architecting and designing our next-generation commerce platform and transforming the way food is marketed, sold, and purchased in local food systems. The right candidate has a strong fundamental knowledge of CS (data structures, algorithms, etc) and a demonstrated ability to understand both the possibilities and constraints of web applications and large data problems. The Sr. Developer will represent LocalGrown in all things technical with investors, partners, media, etc., and as such, must have strong interpersonal, presentation, and organization skills. <br /> <br />The performance of the Sr. Developer will be critical in our success, and as such, will be compensated with an generous equity position in the company. Compensation will be equity based initially, but will grow into a salaried role as we secure additional funding and/or drive revenues. We are currently headquartered in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, but a remote office/telecommuting in the upper Midwest is acceptable depending on the experience of the candidate.
