Seeking Freelance Ruby on Rails Programmer for Established Music Website in Chicago

Hi there,

We run an independent music website called MusicFloss, and are looking for a passionate Ruby on Rails freelancer to join our team.

MusicFloss is run by a couple musicians and bloggers, and advocating for artists is our top priority — we’re simply trying to bridge the gap between musicians and technology as much as possible. We’re at a stage in the project where we can really use a helping hand, as we’re currently working on a pretty awesome new version (and concept) of the site.

This gig will most likely require between 10 − 20 hours a week. Only a few people work on MusicFloss (there’s only one other developer), and honestly, we’ve only been able to make this happen through a ton of hard work and dedication. When it comes to finding the right person for this, we care just as much about passion for what we’re trying to accomplish, and thorough communication/reliability, as we do programming skills. If you’re a music fan, and looking to do good in a very hands on way, we think you’ll love this project.
