System and Network Operations Engineer -- help scale a growing startup! in San Francisco

Syncplicity is looking for an experienced system and network administrator to set up, manage, and maintain its diverse cloud infrastructure. As a net-ops expert on our team, Syncplicity backend’s availability, security, uptime, and efficiency will be in your hands. You’ll also work closely with the engineering team to ensure Syncplicity’s architecture is compliant with your requirements and the model you’ve designed for our scalable backend.

Candidates should be closely familiar with Win2k8 and Linux, network configuration and setup, and the s/w and h/w necessary to build out lean and mean servers and server clusters. Senior Client Developer @ Syncplicity - come join a growing startup! in San Francisco

Syncplicity has a Windows and Mac client, with a Linux client soon to follow. As the client development lead, you will be charged with designing, developing, and maintaining our core client code base. Even though Syncplicity is a cloud computing service, there are very hard scalability and optimization problems that needs to be solved on the desktop client. Not only will you have to understand the client side architecture, but you will also have to work with the server team to make design decisions on the whole end-to-end system.
