Technical Co-Founder with Founder Level Equity Needed in Washington

We are currently in the process of building an innovative reservations-based social payment platform for local merchants. The basic framework/prototype and core essentials of the site (including payment processing and some adaptive and learning algorithms) have been built and many features are currently in development, but we still have bugs and are quickly nearing the end of our technical expertise. Early market tests have shown a positive response to the product. However, a co-founder is needed to take over the project as we begin to look for VC funding, begin sales, and develop the site even further. Someone who is particularly experienced with Facebook Application development and comfortable with object-oriented PHP (Currently utilizing PHPCake and Git/Unfuddle) as well as front-end skills should apply.

We want to disrupt the use of waiters in restaurants who do three main things (receive orders, serve food, and give recommendations). We think the system is inefficient as people fumble around with menus to receive orders, wait inordinate amounts of time to have their food served, and don't receive personalized recommendations from waiters. We hope that our software will be able to help restaurants cut costs and make their operations more efficient.

Cash is limited, but substantial founder level equity (30-40%) in the LLC is available. Ability to work from home. Lead founder has entrepreneurial experience (two previous ventures), political experience, and venture capital connections, receiving at one point the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Ernst&Young for a previous venture. Founders come from Princeton (Economics), Cornell (Computer Science), Berkeley (Electrical Engineering) Yale (Economics), Emory (Accounting).
