Chief Technology Officer/Partner Needed ASAP in New York

We are a self funded NYC based Web 2.0 startup in search of a third partner in the capacity as a Lead Developer/CTO. This partner will be in charge of all technology and web development, receiving a vested equity stake in the company. This is a non-paid position; the other two partners’ only compensation is an equity stake as well, but there will be ample opportunity for huge benefits and a great work atmosphere in the very near future.

Much of the site has already been built by outside developers, so we are expecting the partner to add a huge amount of value added project work and be able to work with the other partners in a daily capacity to help the site grow and optimize its current functionality. In the short term we would like to announce a basic beta version of the site to the public, which is only really a week's worth of work away, once you get comfortable with the code (some design fixes, bugs, CSS, formatting, homepage etc.). After this launch we have a ton of features to add, but we will get feedback from the public before procedding.

Please note that the current two partners are business people and have built this site without a full-time tech person. We expect that with the addition of a lead programmer to the solid business plan (employing a unique business model), the site can be taken to the next level. The partners believe the company will be well positioned to seek a large amount of outside investment in the near future and achieve a large valuation within 3 years. This is really a no lose situation for someone interested in joining a startup with a lot of potential- all we ask is for your time.
