Food waste is one of the biggest sustainability issues globally yet there are few technologies that to help companies address it. One of the biggest areas of opportunity for new technologies is in helping retailers and food service operators cut food waste.
We are funded for the next 18 months to launch a product that is unique to the UK, but has been proven in other markets. The founders have experience in successfully building and exiting startups. We have a mix of technical and business experience. However, we need one more technical co-founder to help us as we iterate on a prototype product to develop something that is ready for commercial trade.

Need two awesome developers (1 front-end, 1 back-end) to complete start-up team in UK

I'm a techie turned entrepreneur who sold his first venture for a nice sum a few years back, and now starting-up a new business.
The new product has been under development using outsourcing since July, but things are progressing too slowly for my liking, so I am looking to move the code in-house and with the help of two top-notch coders.

What is the product?

I can not divulge too much on here, but I have come up with a new variation on social browsing that I believe is currently unexplored. I will give a full overview of the idea to short-listed applicants. Obviously this collaboration can only work if you believe in the concept as much as I do.

What am I offering?

I can afford to either pay you a very basic salary along with some equity, or no salary and a very large amount of equity (while retaining majority share for myself).
I will provide enough funding to the company to cover office costs, infrastructure, legal/accounting fees, external graphic design costs and a small marketing budget.

What am I looking for?

Coders who:

- are willing to dedicate 6-9 month of their life on a venture with little job security. If it looks like the market does not like the product, we will just wind things down and you can go on your way in 9 months.
- are AWESOME programmers. I am moving away from outsourcing because the quality is shit and the pace is slow. I can not afford to get the same result in-house.
The current code is WPF/.NET (front-end) and PHP + MongoDB (back-end)
We may keep the current code or start from scratch. Since I can do back-end stuff myself, a WPF/.NET/UI wizard is at the top of my wanted list, but ideally I'd get a person for each.
