This person must understand the game development pipeline and be able to identify opportunities for improvement. Bionic Panda Games is looking for talented Android game developers. A successful candidate will have built a mobile game (ideally in Android but let’s talk if it’s J2ME/BREW) and realize the nuances and intricacies involved in such an undertaking. This person must be intimately knowledgeable about the strengths and weaknesses of mobile platforms. We’re building casual games so we may not be using much 3D. However, we’ll be heavily invested in 2D animation and physics so knowledge of OpenGL ES is a must.

Mobile Gaming Infrastructure Developer

Bionic Panda Games is looking for someone to design and implement a proprietary cloud services infrastructure for its Android mobile games. A successful candidate will have built server-side infrastructure for high-volume web or mobile applications in the past. This person must be intimately knowledgeable about (and more importantly know when to use) RDMS, message queues, and in-memory caches. Experience with payment systems integration is a huge plus. Oh, and you should really like open-source stuff.
