Deputy Editor in New York

DailyWorth is looking for a full-time deputy editor to generate content aimed at budding entrepreneurs and small business owners, as well as some personal finance content. The deputy editor will be responsible for generating a weekly memo of ideas that address the needs and interests of female entrepreneurs: i.e. from developing a business model to hiring to pricing, marketing, social media and basic money management. The deputy editor will assign, write, and edit on a weekly basis, manage staff writers and freelancers, and create editorial packages and themed series throughout the year.

What we are looking for:
- An experienced editor/writer who not only covers business and personal finance, but enjoys exploring the specific challenges that women face.
- A highly motivated self-starter who is results-oriented, knows how to prioritize, and requires minimal supervision to meet deadlines and monitor copy flow.
- Someone who is creative and can quickly identify fresh angles on topics.
- A team player with a big-picture mentality and a sense of humor.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a full-time editor, with at least one full year focusing on small business issues and one year of personal finance.

This position is based in our New York office. The Deputy Editor will report to the Managing Editor and Editor-in-Chief.

Managing Editor in New York

DailyWorth is looking for an experienced managing editor to be an integral part of our editorial team. The ME will be responsible for overseeing the copy flow for our daily money management email for women. Experience in personal finance or a background in womens publications a plus. Duties include copy scheduling and tracking, light copy editing, managing the staff writers, contributing story ideas at team meetings, and coordinating and facilitating communications between editorial divisions. The ME will also act as a liaison with the Sales Editor, monitoring sales copy flow and doing some line editing.

Marketing Manager in New York

DailyWorth is looking for one stellar Marketing Manager to be an integral part of our team. This position will be responsible for email list subscriber growth via explicit marketing initiatives. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and will be the second position in our marketing department.

Responsibilities:
- Manage viral marketing program designed to engage friends of existing subscribers with explicit growth targets
- Generate ideas for new, free programs aimed at subscriber growth (video, webinars, events, etc.)
- Partly own viral marketing subscriber goals and measurement
- Produce events in partnership with other major digital properties and influencers in major markets (New York, LA, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston, Atlanta)
- Establish and maintain influencer partnerships

Tactical Execution:
- Establish and maintain content syndication partnerships (work with editorial)
- Maintain external marketing calendar for 3 editions
- Establish and maintain barter/free partnerships (work with sales) for 3 editions
- Execute social media campaigns and maintain the campaigns calendar
- Manage Brand Ambassador program
- Execute new, free programs
- Execute and optimize TAF program for 3 editions
- Execute and optimize in-site sign-up opportunities and cross-pollination among lists
- Support graphic design and tech management
- Support paid marketing/integrated program initiatives when appropriate
- Attend events on behalf of marketing department in NYC

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 3 years digital media marketing is a must
