We base our development process on 4 simple steps: Innovate, Measure, Iterate. Repeat. We first start with an idea. We then implement that idea in a bare minimum fashion. We test it with real users and measure their usage qualitatively and quantitatively. We then iterate the design until we get something we're proud of.

As a PHP developer, you'll be responsible for translating those ideas into something that is real and usable. You'll work with designers, content experts and science types to develop the most effective ways to improve people's lives.

This is an opportunity for you to roll up your sleeves on every aspect of design and implementation. You'll be part of the team that generates and tests ideas, and have the opportunity to put your passion for great web properties into practice. You'll also code like mad: our entire PHP codebase will be your playground, and you'll know it inside and out, building and optimizing constantly. Our work is never slow or routine, frequently challenging, and always rewarding.

Therefore, we don't just need a coder: we need someone who's committed to the idea of changing the world through positive actions, and who's ready to use PHP to make that happen.
