Developer Advocate in Reston

We are looking for software developers who are passionate about customer service.

The Developer Advocate role is highly technical and requires in-depth problem solving. We work very closely with our Engineering team to provide support for licensees of Riak Enterprise, develop educational material for users, and deliver training and professional services. The entire company is focused on providing customers with unparalleled support. The users that we support are Software Engineers and Operations staff working at Silicon Valley startups, all the way up to Fortune 100 companies.

You should have a strong aptitude for troubleshooting. You will be investigating issues that involve previously unseen edge cases, or perhaps behavior exposed by someone pushing the envelope beyond the limits of any previous user. Digging in to the source code to understand how things work should sound fun to you.

Partner Alliance Manager in San Francisco

The Partner Alliance Manager will be a key part of Basho’s Sales & Marketing team, playing an instrumental role in helping to build Basho into a database solutions-defining company. As part of the team, the Partner Alliance Manager will work to build, evangelize and deliver world-class database solutions, products, and services to Basho’s customers and partners. Alliance Managers develop strategic relationships with Basho’s partners and will own development of the partnering strategies and relationship development with their respective partner companies. Partner Alliance Managers will also align partner product integrations with Basho’s product directions. This may include delivering and coordinating roadmaps between Basho and our partners to ensure differentiation, technology adoption and enhancement with the partner’s technologies. The Partner Alliance Manager will work closely with the Sales and Professional Services teams to provide the necessary tools and guidance and create partnerships to increase revenue and achieve business and financial goals.
