Immersonal is seeking a Web Developer – Software Engineer to deliver a variety of products to web platforms. The right person will build dynamic web applications from conception to production with strong design aesthetics. Most importantly, the Web Developer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment and support of Immersonal Concierge, the first Immersonal service offering over the web.

Our Story:

Based in Vienna, Virginia, Immersonal is a start-up dedicated to helping people find, plan and organize going to a live event with others. Immersonal is a ticket broker on the secondary market and can provide tickets to these events. The Immersonal concierge service can also be used to organize events that do not require tickets, such as a dinner, a visit to a museum or a club for drinks and dancing.

Once at an event, Immersonal delivers location-based services on iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Android, and BlackBerry that connect audiences to performers and others in the audience in new ways.

Immersonal raised a seed round of financing from its founders; we are now looking for someone to join the team who loves to wear many hats, is a self-starter and energetic, needs little supervision and is able to interact with a variety of people and personality types.

The web based Concierge application will have HTML based front tier, application service based middle tier, and database tier. The application will interface with several external service providers such as ticketing services, hotel and restaurant reservation systems.
