RoR CoFounder 4 Disruptive Local Social Startup in Bay Area

We are a local/social startup in the process of relocating to the valley. I just moved to SV and two other team members are moving out here after the semester is over. We are changing the paradigm of local/social. There are MANY locial/social zombie startups going sideways with no clear winners because no one has changed the model. We have seen and we understand the failure of local/social startups but we still believe in the promise that there is a way we can connect/relate to the pipeline of people and places all around us in a way that is both familiar, new and without the awkwardness of the current social models.

We're still early in development. We have a web app on rails sitting on a heroku stack but it still has a lot of bugs we're trying to work out. The development is slow because I'm the only one working 100% on the startup. Everyone else is part-time for now.
