We have an awesome and disruptive gay dating web app that launched this month.

Mantrackr.com is build on the premise of who is near you and is visually intensive. Think Grindr. Our app is built using PHP/mysql, jQuery, and CSS and is hosted on Dotcloud.

We are two forward-thinking brothers, one of whom is creative while the other is geeky. We are very proud of our app and we believe in infusing the best of web 2.0/3.0 into it.

We are looking for a talented PHP/javascript programmer with vision to grow with us as we capture a piece of the huge gay and straight dating market. Specifically, we are looking for a programmer who already has a job and is seeking to moonlight in a flexible part time but long term position. Skills preferred: PHP, javascript, HTML5, CSS, and mysql.

We are looking to develop iPhone/Android phone apps using a HTML5 framework such as Sencha or appMobi, and PhoneGap.

Future changes to the the web app will include the following:
new layout: responsive/fluid
messaging: real time chat using Pusher
HTML5: geolocation and localStorage
new functionality/features

We would like to a have trial period first to see if there is a fit with expectations, then offer a percentage of gross revenue (equity) that is fair and makes sense to all since we are bootstrapping and thus cannot offer a salary at this point. We realize this isn’t ideal for everyone but we are seriously looking for someone who sees the potential of the dating market and of our app, and would like to grow with us. There is tremendous potential.
