This is an exciting role focused on driving visibility of INTITA mission.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Your COMPENSATION – generous PROFIT SHARING (50%) from business brought as a result of media coverage. We have a method to track correlation between media coverage and incoming revenue. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The essential functions for this opportunity are, but not limited to, the following:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;•Build and manage relationships and drive consistent dialogue with lifestyle, health &amp;amp; wellness, business, consumer and regional media. &lt;br /&gt;•Develop thoughtful and creative story angles and formulate publicity plans to generate coverage for INTITA with traditional and new (online) media &lt;br /&gt;•Write messaging documents, press releases, fact sheets and pitches to a high standard consistent with company messaging. &lt;br /&gt;•Work on multiple projects simultaneously, while managing and keeping track of all deliverables, due dates and follow-through. &lt;br /&gt;•Track and report coverage. &lt;br /&gt;•Build and manage media database. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Minimum Requirements for the position are:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;•Bachelor's degree in journalism/communications or related field &lt;br /&gt;•Minimum of 4+ years of relevant PR experience. &lt;br /&gt;•Experience in health or wellness public relations highly desired, or experience in closely related to corporate programs &lt;br /&gt;•Natural self-starter; ability to work independently and in deadline-driven environment &lt;br /&gt;•Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills &lt;br /&gt;•Demonstrated success implementing media campaigns and securing coverage (examples required) &lt;br /&gt;•Demonstrated track record developing successful working relationships with reporters and bloggers (references required). &lt;br /&gt;•Keen understanding of social media and its role in brand awareness and PR.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;ABOUT INTITA:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;INTITA is a research, advisory and program development group focused on personal and interpersonal transformation and its implications for individuals, families and our culture, including global business and politics.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It’s a volunteer based organization, a crossroads for people, projects and programs to connect and support expertise in transformational human technologies.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;INTITA (International Institute for Transformational Arts) is headquartered in Silicon Valley with its first center in Los Gatos and does interdisciplinary research and program development, coordinating and reporting findings in transformational human technologies from around the world to effect transformation for both individuals and organizations.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;INTITA conducts experiential and empirical research on what technologies, modalities and techniques work, how individuals and leaders use these tools, how to help these technologies penetrate culture, how they are implemented in education, art, business, commerce, entertainment, politics, communication, and other walks of life.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Among the complex problems that are at the heart of the INTITA agendas are:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;- Reducing implementation time and resistance to transformational technologies and methods to enable more universal uses for individuals and organizations&lt;br /&gt;- Closing information gaps and healthcare cost gaps across class, race, gender, age and nations, so that access to the technologies can provide equal opportunities for healthy living, personal development and emotional liberation for personal and societal well-being&lt;br /&gt;- Accelerating innovation through collaboration with organizations and practitioners to promote programs, products and services that better meet human and organizational needs&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;By bringing change in lives of individuals we aim to effect corporate and political transformation, leading to shifted awareness about actions and underlying motives.&lt;/td&gt;&lt;/tr&gt;&lt;/table&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.startuply.com/Jobs/ENTREPRENEURIAL_Public_Relations_Manager_potential_K_COMPENSATION_PROFIT_SHARING_6183_3.aspx"&gt;View full job description&lt;/a&gt; | &lt;a href="http://www.startuply.com/Companies/International_Institute_of_Transformational_Arts_4936.aspx"&gt;View company profile&lt;/a&gt;</description>

Jan is active in the ManKind Project (mkp.org) an international organization dedicated to reclaiming the sacred masculine for our time.
