Business Development and Marketing Intern in New York

We’re seeking one very smart, motivated intern to work with our Marketing and Business Development team. You’ll help build and maintain merchant relationships and strategic partnerships, devise and execute customer acquisition plans uniquely tailored to each client, and assist in crafting and executing our consumer marketing efforts. There will also be many chances to hone your chops in product development and operations, drawing on the expertise you gain from user behavior to help craft strategic goals. Content Associate / Jack Of All Trades INTERN At Funded Startup in New York

We are an angel-funded startup about to launch our newest product. It’s a marketing platform that connects people with the world’s best brands. And we’re looking for a real jack-of-all-trades doer UNPAID INTERN to serve as our chief content associate, as well as handle any other duties that may come his or her way. This is a fantastic learning/training opportunity for the right candidate, and could lead to a full-time role down the line.

The primary responsibilities of this internship will include sourcing online content, deciding which content meets the necessary criteria for posting, and getting the content onto our site. You will also be asked to help out with other administrative duties. Beyond that, you will receive training and hands-on experience in sales, marketing, public relations, business development, and project management efforts. We are a small, fast-growing company, so this position could very easily lead to more senior roles with a number of responsibilities.

This job is likely ideal for a recently college graduate or highly motivated college student with strong writing skills, a deep understanding of social media/ecommerce websites/Internet technologies, and the desire to be a key player in a dynamic startup. Merchant Exchange is seeking a Product Manager responsible for guiding the overall product vision and managing its execution, as well as ensuring successful product releases and iterative product improvement based on market needs, available resources, and business objectives. The Product Manager will be expected to play an active role in guiding the user experience, and should bring a creative and insightful eye towards addressing consumer needs and use cases with elegant simplicity. The Product Manager should also be comfortable managing a team of developers and have enough of an engineering background to be able to factor technical constraints into product specs and architectural decisions, as well as help problem solve when issues arise.
