As a Web Project Manager for DietBet, you’ll be leading the day to day efforts of our development team in support of site maintenance, enhancements and customer support. Your role will be to orchestrate activities across the team to ensure that all work is performed according to scope and without defects. You will work very closely with our Product Management team to drive regular releases of functionality to the platform which involves leading all development, testing and rollout activities. This role also includes interfacing directly with customers (primarily via email) to resolve issues they are having using the platform, which typically involves coordinating with the development team to address issues as they are identified.

Senior Front End Developer in New York

We are looking for a well-rounded Senior Front End Developer who will write well rationalized, standards compliant code (HTML, Javascript, JQuery, CSS), translate our designer's vision into final presentation layer components and create a superb user experience that scales across browsers, devices and screen resolutions. S/he will be asked to bring new innovative ideas that help shape how we build out the presentation layer and our overall product. A major key to success will be working collaboratively with our product management team to quickly bring the best possible product to market through quick turnaround prototypes to validate concepts.

As a critical member of our engineering team, s/he will be responsible for identifying key presentation layer technologies, the process by which UI components are designed and developed and the integration points between the front end code and the back-end. And most importantly, they are responsible for creating high quality code that is optimized for high performance across browsers and devices.
Since we are an early stage start-up, this person also needs to have a true entrepreneurial spirit. S/he will be expected to participate in strategy sessions and help in overall business efforts (i.e. jump in to help the team as needed.)
