Community Marketing Manager in Seattle

We're looking for someone to help support the online activities of all of our users. You can think of this as sort of a customer service type of position, except you have to use your individual analytical skills to come up with creative solutions to problems, and help us improve our applications along the way. Our users will have questions, complaints, requests and ideas...we will get a huge number of emails, forum posts, Facebook messages, blog comments, death threats, love notes and other interactions from our users. If there is ever a problem with something that we make (yeah right) you would be the one responding to emails with a polite apology and an explanation of the problem. Some angry person will email you to ask if they can post some firearms and suicide vests on Kashless.org Are you ready to deal with that hot potato? Yikes. Are you ready to monitor our site activity to prevent spam? Also, we're going to need you to be our eyes and ears on the front lines, keeping close tabs on what our users are asking for. We want you to come to us with suggestions for what features we should change to better serve our users. This position will also involve moderating our message boards, approving MySpace friend requests, and stuff like that. In addition to multiple virtual persona's you will have plenty of opportunities in meat space to interact with local marketing partners organizing events and generating awareness.

View full job description | View company profile
