Alpha Generating Quantitative Researcher/Strategist - Stat Arb High Frequency in Sacramento

We are a searching for super-smart individuals who have a passion for trading and investing. We are looking to hire an experienced equities statistical arbitrage quantitative researcher/Trader and software programmers (C++). We are looking for a statistical arbitrage researcher/trader with either live alpha generating strategies, or some experience of stat arb strategy research but maybe not having seen your own strategies go into production yet.

Primarily, we trade spreads to generate profit while minimizing net market exposure. When buying a spread, the trader is betting on relative performance rather than on absolute performance. This allows the trader to express a view without taking on unwanted risk.

There are several advantages to this approach:

Maintains market neutrality, reducing exposure to the overall market direction
Reduces sector and industry risk, depending on the short security chosen
Reflects the differential economics by removing factors outside the scope of the trade (market noise)
Improves your ability to compare and analyze
Is self-funding, since you can use the short sale returns to buy the long position (subject to margin requirements)

All strategies that we seek to develop have a sharpe ratio above 5, triple digit returns, and limited draw-downs.
