Mogees is looking to hire a contractor to join our development team, with a possible transition to a full time position. As an early member of the team, you will have the chance to contribute along different dimensions, from conceptualization to research to implementation. You will be using Python, MySQL, and JavaScript to create an interactive and easy-to-use website. The ideal candidate should be familiar with object-oriented design and client-server applications. We want someone who truly loves coding and has a passion for simple and efficient designs.

- Work closely with the rest of the development team to develop our web application
- Implement new product features using Python and SQL in an Apache/Linux environment
- Applying basic user interface design skills when implementing features
- Work closely with cross functional founding team
- Take on additional roles as needed to help us build a great company and product

The ideal candidate is:
- Entrepreneurial - thrives in a fast paced and changing work environment and willing to wear multiple hats
- Driven - motivated by the ability to make an impact
- Sharp - comfortable with new technologies and a quick learner
- Action oriented - gets stuff done and hitting milestones
- Team player - enjoy being part of a young and talented team

Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or lots of relevant experience
- Experience coding in Python, PHP, Java or C++
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

The following are bonuses:
- Experience creating web applications
- Experience creating mobile applications
- Experience in HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, J2ME
- Experience with Apache, MySQL, XML, client-server applications
- Understanding of object-oriented design principles & methods
