Senior Software Engineer in Cambridge

As a member of the engineering team, you'll be asked to dive into solving problems across our entire software stack. On any given day that may mean: scaling distributed systems to fetch, store, and index content; developing machine learning improvements over large data sets; or building front-end websites and mobile applications. Web Application Engineer in Cambridge

Spindle is looking for someone who loves shipping elegant web interfaces that are easy to use and always responsive. You are someone who is excited about UX and interface design and you have expertise writing Javascript and HTML/CSS. You'll work closely with our product and visual design teams to rapidly design, prototype, and ship features in customer-facing web products and internal tools. As a member of the engineering team, you'll also be working closely with our platform engineers to translate our backend services into a cohesive set of client APIs and templates to be consumed by a wide variety of browsers and devices. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding development environment, be able to pick up new technologies and languages quickly, and have experience with tools such as Git and Unix scripting.
