Director of Engineering in San Francisco

Second Layer is looking for a Director of Engineering to take over the reigns of our finished Alpha product.

Founded in 2011, Second Layer was created with the purpose of creating a seamless experience between social networks and website content, allowing for real-time conversations online. Located in San Francisco, the Second Layer team is always striving to create a product that evolves how people use the web today.

We're a small team, with only 3 full-time members. And we like the idea of staying small for a while. Besides the main team, we have several highly accomplished Advisors working with us, and our next steps will be to grow the user-base of our product, seek an incubator and/or seek funding.

So for this position, we're okay with candidates working part-time at first, then moving into a full-time position when needed. And if interested, we can give you more details on exactly how our current system is built.
