Assistant Controller

Fast growing start-up is looking for a full-time assistant controller. This is an opportunity to get in at an early stage and make a difference. The ideal candidate has significant and broad accounting and book keeping experience and has previously been responsible for a significant portion of the full accounting/reporting process in a small/private company environment. First and foremost, this position is responsible for taking over the daily accounting activities along with monthly/annual closing activities. Things change quickly around here and we need people that can adjust and change ahead of the curve. This position reports to the COO, and, in addition to weekly accounting/bookkeeping activities, will assist with a number of non-accounting administrative activities.
