Senior System Engineer in Cambridge

Plastiq’s e-commerce platform empowers consumers to pay for large-ticket items on their credit card, where previously they could not. The company is headquartered in Boston, with satellite operations in Toronto and New York City, and is backed by top advisors and investors from across the financial sector, academia, and consumer technology.
We are seeking a highly innovative, experienced, and exceptionally professional Senior Systems Engineer. This individual will be a part of the systems delivery team within Plastiq and will be responsible for all systems engineering and support tasks across technology portfolio. This position is located in Boston, MA.

Plastiq’s Senior System Engineer will be responsible for supporting all systems tasks within technology portfolio, including production, QA and development. The responsibility will include administration, automation and maintenance of systems, management of security information, communication with hosting providers, maintaining and managing build and packaging systems and supporting source control and versioning.
The Systems Engineer will be working as a part of software solutions delivery team and will provide valuable input on systems architecture, deployment methodologies, security, scalability, vendor selection and hardware purchases.
