VolunteerBIG is creating web technology to help us all have a greater impact in our home
communities. Do they call it web 3.0 when it comes offline?

We’re a recent partner with GoodCompany Ventures with a pledge of assistance from the
City of Philadelphia, and currently have an amazing opportunity to create broad social
change. We’re looking for an absolutely exceptional coder to balance our skill set and challenge us to
be even faster and smarter.

You are:
• Strongly experienced building scalable and maintainable code in LAMP or equivalent environment (RoR…).
• Intensely interested in creating real and measurable value through your work.
• A responsible, hard working and systematic person that enjoys what you do.
• A gifted database architect that applies creative solutions.
• An incredibly gifted programmer that gets work done twice as fast and three times cleaner than your peers.
• Not afraid to challenge the assumptions of your co-workers.
• A hands-on implementer.
