Entry-level C#/SQL/WPF Developer in Greenwood Village

FinFolio is a boutique technology company that makes software for professional financial advisors. We're seeking someone who wants to get a start in financial software development; a background in finance would be a plus but is not required. We're seeking long-term employees who will grow with the company over a period of years.

Our development environment uses the Microsoft technology stack (C#, WPF, WCF, nHibernate, SQL). You will have interaction with other developers, members of the support team and our founder/CEO who also writes code. You'll need strong critical thinking skills and an ability to easily transition between technical discussions and business analysis. Be passionate.

At our heart FinFolio is a software company, founded and run by a software developer who has created, grown and sold similar startups. FinFolio has broken into a >$1B vertical market with well-established competitors and we have a reputation for leading our field in software design.

We work hard and take pride in the quality of our software, investing the extra time to polish the UI and reports. We also have fun; the CEO serves margaritas every Friday during our weekly release and we occasionally kick off early to catch movie premieres. We're centrally located in the Denver Tech Center, a short walk from the Arapahoe rail stop with free parking, health care, casual dress and other amenities.

Experience in the finance industry is a *must* for this position. You will be expected to understand the intimate details of how portfolio management software works. You will interact with clients and manage our beta releases, coordinate all manual testing, and develop test plans. You will be responsible for researching and implementing automated testing suites for UI testing.

Expert skills in C# and related technologies are needed and past experience in finance would be a big plus (but not a requirement). We're seeking long-term employees who want to help grow our company over a period of years.

Our development environment uses the Microsoft technology stack (C#, WPF, WCF, nHibernate, SQL). You will be responsible for assisting in the development of our flagship WPF product, as well as leading the way in new product development (SharePoint and WinRT). We expect you to take ownership of the product(s) and care about them as much as you care about being a great developer.
