Operations Associate in San Francisco

Trumaker is seeking an operations powerhouse to be the engine behind a fast-growing men’s apparel company. Time to roll up those sleeves (your own…not the ones on the shirts you’ll be handling) and help us run this operation like clockwork. Ok, enough machinery metaphors.

You’ll be in the midst of an energetic office working closely with an accomplished, motivated team passionate about building the next great start up. Making sure we receive and ship product quickly and accurately is critical to our success.

In addition to executing physical distribution of product, you’ll be preparing for photoshoots, dreaming up new ways to delight customers, building analytical tools and reporting on key performance metrics. We’re a small group, so there will be opportunities to gain diverse experience.

We’re looking for someone who gets things done, hates excuses, and loves results. And, if you can tolerate a bit of chaos, but are always looking to tame it, that’s also a plus.

 As the Strategy & Operations Associate, you’ll wear many hats but always be the company’s go-to operator. Every day, you’ll be partnering with the founding team to develop business strategies, execute efficient processes, and find shortcuts to faster growth.

This is an entry-level position without entry-level responsibilities. A typical day might involve identifying new strategies for recruitment optimization, mapping out our Q2 budget, making UX suggestions in a product meeting, and solving challenges in our supply chain.

We want our Associate to be a vocal team member who always asks questions and never fails to leverage the help of others to get things done – and we’ll mentor you to make sure you develop these skills. Our ideal candidate is adaptable, highly entrepreneurial, and wants to take a big leap forward in their career.

Supporting the simplicity of the TRUMAKER experience is an advanced technology platform that is part e-commerce engine, part sales CRM, all Ruby on Rails -- and that's why we're looking for a detail-oriented, aspiring engineer who is good at breaking things, writing tests, breaking more things, and interacting with our backend and front-end resources to make sure the latest and greatest features are passing muster.

This is a position for growth: we want you to learn and get better. If you're looking to pick up a coding language or two, product management skills, and UI/UX design experience, we're happy to show you the ropes and make you a real Swiss Army Knife.
