FlockSpring is a multi-faith search site to help people discover the right spiritual community for them. Think Yelp + Meetup.com for religious groups. We want to be the goto place for people to browse and discover spiritual communities and hear about local events within their faith. FlockSpring is more than a directory of listings, we are adding new dimentionality by enabling user to search based on culture fit criteria such as music style, and age demographics.

1in 7 people move every year, and with 80% of the population claiming a religious affiliation that's upwards of 24M people potentially seeking a new spiritual community in their new neighborhood. Likewise there are already established religious goers who are looking to expand their friend network and dating pool within their faith. FlockSpring is there to serve both markets with relevant and helpful search results and local events for those looking to plug into a spiritually minded community of people.

The founder herself is affiliated with Christianity and Buddhism and fully understands the pain points of "church shopping" or finding local events such as zen talks. She also understands the business side from the religious groups who didn't go to school for marketing and need help being found online.

Co-founders do not need to be religious, though it is a benefit if you have an understanding of this market segment. FlockSpring is looking for a technical co-founder eager to build a solution to this outdated market segment that is in need of a web 2.0 solution.
