We seek a Javascript Developer who enjoys pushing the limits of their craft in a truly unique and privileged environment. The position requires daily interaction with the marketing and product development teams in New York. This role will be responsible for the development of innovative user interfaces, feature enhancements and other compelling applications for premier luxury brands and advertisers. There will be a strong preference for candidates with a background developing modular components for large-scale web applications that extensively leverage AJAX, JavaScript libraries, and web services. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an adherence to best practices in their work regarding browser compatibility, maintainability and code reuse.

We seek well-rounded individuals with experience developing consumer-facing web applications. A broad and deep interest in technology coupled with a passion for creating great products that make users happy is required. You should embrace web 2.0 principles while retaining a healthy skepticism of the hype. We're looking for mature professionals who are versatile thinkers capable of selecting the appropriate tool for the job and are flexible enough to work in various technologies (we use Ruby, PHP, and Java). Experience delivering non-trivial production Ruby on Rails code in a team environment is a must. Some experience with AJAX and DHTML is required.
